Plan your trip

We’ve put together some essential tips to help you plan your adventure to South Korea. There are scenic trails surrounded by dramatic granite peaks, misty valleys, and streams so pristine they practically begged for a photoshoot. ‍This vibrant city offers a variety of inclusive spaces and⁤ exciting ⁢happenings that cater to the diverse LGBTQ+ community.

It’s part protest, part party, and 100% unforgettable.

For muscle lads who want to party topless all night long, the Moonlight Circuit Festival in Seoul is where you need to be.  This is a great spot for drinks and dancing. It’s⁢ a tribute to⁢ the countless organizations, businesses, and individuals who have championed⁢ LGBTQ+ rights, advocating for⁢ a society that embraces diversity wholeheartedly.

As we bid farewell to Seoul’s intoxicating embrace, we leave behind‌ a piece of our hearts to those who paved the way for a new era of acceptance.

Why Not? – A great place to sit down and have cocktails. Spring (March to May) is all about cherry blossoms and mild weather. By taking action, like subscribing or making a purchase, you’ll be supporting my work and fueling my taco cravings at the same time.

It is a little pricey to get in, but it always has the best and liveliest crowd.

Gray – Similar to Pulse in size and feel, but more of a Korean crowd.

Hamilton Hotel Pool – This is a summer only pool party, which is not exclusively gay, but you can find plenty of them here.

It’s generally good fun with a group of friends.

Him by Pulse – Located off of Homo Hill. These ‍representations not only contribute to the broader‌ cultural conversation⁢ surrounding ⁢LGBTQ+ rights but also serve ‌as ⁣a source of inspiration ⁢and validation for queer viewers who have historically been underrepresented or misrepresented.

It works on buses, subways, and even some taxis.

  • Google Translate is your BFF: Most signage and labels are in Korean, so don’t leave home without Google Translate. In general, it is one of my favorite places to go to because there are so many like-minded foreigners from every country you can imagine, each with their own personalities and unique experiences.

After the Korean War, evangelical missionaries wasted no time trying to spread Christianity far and wide throughout the country.  The gay area is a more hidden, slightly rougher version of Jong-Ro, but in my opinion, more fun. We had the time of our lives grilling our own meat at the table.
