on Thursdays with club classics from resident DJs. The weekend builds with Freedom’s House Party on Fridays and Fabulous on Saturdays, both drawing big dance crowds. The best LGBTQ clubs in London
1. Dalston Superstore
Superstore is an iconic part of London’s LGBTQ+ scene and a little queer utopia where you’ll always be able to find a healthy serving of fun. Check out these LGBTQ+ pubs and bars.
Been there, done that?
There’s plenty of diversity in what they offer, from super cool and edgy club nights to events showcasing the best in the city’s cabaret performers and London’s incredible drag stars too.
Are you more in the market for a drink and a sit down? The space recently celebrated its 15th birthday and, in that time, it’s become one of the trendiest but welcoming party spots around.

2. Heaven
Partying at Heaven is a rite of passage for any LGBTQ+ Londoner.
The main G-A-Y club night takes place every Saturday, where you’ll often find stars from ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ getting crowds starstruck. FOLD, which attracts a predominantly though not exclusively queer crowd, has a reputation for killer programming and a vibe that radiates the raw energy of grassroots clubbing. Located in a non-residential area between Bow and Canning Town, the club is basically a box with a sound system and some LEDs, but once you visit you’ll realise that you really don’t need anything more than that.
In the day, you’ll find delicious burgers (and brunch on weekends) from Troy’s Kitchen. The action in London extends beyond the dating apps, with the city boasting world-class gay clubs, a treasure trove of cultural sights, and a historical theatre scene in the West End.
It's no secret that Soho is the main gay district in London, and this sizeable and central area of the capital is littered with fantastic gay clubs, bars, and gay-friendly hotels.
At night, anything goes.
The place is steeped in history and offers up an eclectic calendar of events throughout the week. The ground floor offers a bright and modern bar space with video screens playing chart hits; downstairs is a clubbier room where fresh-faced types of all genders dance to pop and EDM. Now called Ku Klub, it has its own side entrance and opens its doors from 10pm until 3am every day.
It's in that lower level where the fun really starts, from outré cabaret shows, drag competitions and fringe theatre, before dancing until the small hours as the place transforms into a sequin-studded, drag-fuelled, pop-tastic disco.

4. Royal Vauxhall Tavern
Royal Vauxhall Tavern may not host its flagship LGBTQ+ night Duckie anymore, but the iconic Vauxhall venue still offers plenty of reasons to darken its gloomy Victorian doors, including fetish events, drag shows, lesbian night ‘Butch, Please!’ and monthly pop fest ‘Push the Button’.
5. Two Brewers
Clapham’s Two Brewers isn’t London’s hippest LGBTQ+ venue, but it’s definitely one of the most popular.
G-A-Y also takes over Thursdays and Fridays, but with very different events – Porn Idol and Camp Attack.

3. The Divine
A fab new queer venue run by the time behind recently shuttered Haggerston icon The Glory, The Divine is located just a short strut down the road. The venue is split across two floors; a main bar upstairs where you can enjoy a quiet(ish) drink, and a performance venue in the basement.
Founded by a group of artists, DJs and party people known as The Shapes Collective (responsible for Hackney venue The Glove That Fits) the club is made up of a 600-capacity main dancefloor that fills up fast in the early hours of Saturday and Sunday morning.

9. Village 512
This fairly new LGBTQ+ friendly bar on Kingsland Road is a fun addition to Dalston's late-night scene.
While Soho is home to many of London's most beloved LGBTQ+ institutions, including G-A-Y @ Heaven, there are other hotspots of queer culture spread throughout the city - we love Vauxhall and Dalston for a shamelessly camp night out. Mondays are dedicated to Kinky Kabaret with West End performers, while Tuesdays bring Anthems with live singers covering classic hits.
